    In this 1-Minute Video, Dr. Rajeev Muni discusses pneumatic retinopexy for managing primary rhegmatogenous retinal detachments. Based on the PIVOT trial, the ideal candidates for pneumatic retinopexy are those with 1 or more breaks in detached retina within 1-clock hour, in the superior 8-clock hours. Patients can have any number, location and size of breaks or lattice degeneration in the attached retina.
