Dr. Shriji Patel presents a 25-year-old male patient with a history of acute lymphoblastic leukemia, undergoing PPV with a subretinal biopsy for endogenous endophthalmitis. After carefully inducing a posterior vitreous detachment, a thorough core vitrectomy is performed. Dr. Patel then makes a small retinotomy, and uses forceps to grab a sizable subretinal tissue specimen for biopsy.
