    Surgical Options for Congenital Glaucoma

    1-Minute Video

    Congenital Glaucoma, Pediatric Ophth/Strabismus

In this 1-Minute Video, Dr. Faruk Orge presents surgical options for infants with glaucoma. The classical treatment consists of angle surgery or trabeculectomy. More recently, 360° canaloplasty has been gaining popularity. Dr. Orge finds that an illuminated microcatheter (iTrack; Ellex) is particularly useful, as the blinking light can guide the surgeon during surgery. The procedure may also help to minimize the number of surgeries for infants.
