Dr. Courtney Crawford demonstrates management of vitreomacular traction involving the fovea. He begins with a vitrectomy followed by a posterior vitreous detachment. Dr. Crawford uses the Weiss ring as a fulcrum to further elevate the posterior hyaloid to the level of the vitreous base. The ILM is stained and peeled in a curvilinear fashion around the fovea, followed by air-fluid exchange to complete the surgery.
