    White Things during Eyelid Surgery

    Eyelid Malposition, Oculoplastics/Orbit

In this 1-Minute Video, Dr. George Bartley discusses white things surgeons may encounter during eyelid surgery. It is easy to distinguish the orbital septum from the levator aponeurosis, he explains. The septum will have bounce at the arcus marginalis when held, while the levator aponeurosis will not have tension at the rim. His method eliminates the need for patients to look upwards to determine if you are holding the aponeurosis.
