Mays El-Dairi and Lynn Gordon present arguments for and against the use of OCT imaging for the diagnosis of pseudopapilledema versus papilledema. The for arguments include the fact that OCT can be highly useful in differentiating low grade papilledema from pseudopapilledema. The against arguments include the fact that available literature identifies fluorescein angiography as the most accurate method of correctly diagnosing patients with papilledema or pseudopapilledema.
