This case series demonstrates use of an 18-gauge hypodermic needle in frontalis sling surgery, showing it to be a simple, cost-effective alternativeespecially useful in large medical eye camps. Smaller incisions allow for less bleeding and shorter surgical times: 15 minutes for unilateral cases and 30 minutes for bilateral cases.
