    The big development in cataract surgery in the last century was preserving the capsular bag. In the this century, the transplantation of a capsular bag from a human donor's crystalline lens is the next frontier. In this video, the authors present one of the first types of this surgery, demonstrating their cow-hitch suture technique combined with an iris prosthesis ring in a post-traumatic aniridia and aphakia.
