This video addresses the benefits of combining corneal crosslinking (CXL) and refractive procedures. The goal is complete, long-term visual rehabilitation for both excimer-laser refractive surgery on healthy corneas and corneas compromised by ectatic disease. Evidence is growing that combining these 2 procedures can be synergistic and has the potential to further improve visual outcomes.
