Complete and Permanent Disc Adherence in Descemet-Stripping Endothelial Keratoplasty

The most frequent complication of Descemet-stripping endothelial keratoplasty (DSEK) is poor disc adherence, whether in the form of complete dislocation or partial separation. The incidence of dislocation alone can vary from 3% to more than 50%. The DSEK technique described in this video provides permanent, complete DSEK disc adherence 100% of the time, thus eliminating the need for further disc manipulation.
