    Examination of a Child With Squint: Tips and Tricks

    Examination of a child with squint is challenging. This video demonstrates a logical, stepwise, and simplified approach to derive an accurate diagnosis and plan for corrective surgery. Beginning with tips for estimatimg visual acuity, the authors proceed to a complete motor examination and sensory examination. Nystagmus, restrictive squints, and paralytic squints, as well as special clinical tests such as the forced duction test, exaggerated forced duction test, and the 3-step test are also described.
