    Facial Shaping with Fillers

    Oculoplastics Subspecialty Day 2016
    Oculoplastics/Orbit

Facial aging is a multidimensional and multifactorial process that reflects cumulative effects of time on the skin, soft tissues, and structural components of the face. Over the past 3 decades our understanding of the aging process has been informed by cadaver studies and modern neuroimaging techniques.

In this presentation from AAO 2016, Dr. Jose Montes discusses how facial fillers can be used optimally to restore volume in the aging face. Dr. Montes discusses patient assessment and selection, filler material selection, and an effective and safe injection technique.
