In this presentation from AAO 2016, Larry P. Frohman, MD, presents the financial pros and cons of being a neuro-ophthalmologist. He discusses concerns from carriers regarding payments and talks about the available shrinking dollar regarding physicians and the surgeon. He concludes that neuro-ophthalmologists are getting hit from all sides in academic practices and argues that demand exceeds supply of neuro-ophthalmologists.
