The Hook-CTR for Easier Trans-Scleral Fixation to Weak Zonule Cases

This video shows a new design of the hook-capsular tension rings (CTR; modified Cionni CTR) with 2 hooks to sling the looped sutures in the anterior chamber without tying the CTR for weak zonule cases. By  hooking the sutures without tying, the CTR remained as well positioned as with the Cionni CTR. This CTR leads to easier fixation to the sclera.
