By J. Bradley Randelman, MD
Annual Meeting 2012
Refractive Mgmt/Intervention
In this presentation, Dr. Bradley Randleman reviews the various modalities for evaluating corneal biomechanics, including placido topography, scanning slit-beam imaging, Scheimpflug imaging, and SD-OCT, and how to recognize and interpret patterns suggestive of ectasia and other abnormalities.
The presentation is part of the Refractive Surgery for Residents symposium from the 2012 Annual Meeting. The symposium covers the most fundamental topics in refractive surgery, including patient evaluation, topographic evaluation, step-by-step LASIK and PRK, and recognition and management of surgical complications.
