    Cataract/Anterior Segment

The video will present the technique and the results of implantation of the Malyugin modified Cionni Capsular Tension Ring (MC CTR) in patients with congenital and acquired subluxation of crystalline lenses. The design of the new device allows it to be injected through cataract microincision equal to or less than 1.8 mm. After injection the rings were secured with a transscleral polypropylene sutures, passed through the eyelet of the fixation element. The use of MC CTR proved to be safe and to provide excellent capsular bag centration and favorable functional results.
