    Cornea/External Disease

This video demonstrates a minimally invasive endoscopic corneal neurotization technique to restore corneal sensibility in a patient with neurotrophic keratopathy. The procedure involves an endoscopic harvest of a sensory donor nerve through a small eyelid crease incision and its transfer to the affected cornea. It avoids the inherent risks and the lengthy operative time of the previously reported methods. The use of the endoscope allows for a safe and efficient operation with successful restoration of corneal sensibility and epithelial integrity.
