This video examines the various types of anterior capsulotomies created by two different femtosecond laser systems, the Alcon LenSx and the Optimedica Catalys Precision laser systems. Complete free-floating capsulotomies are comparable to a napkin, the authors explain, while incomplete capsulotomies with tags are likened to a postage stamp. Reasons for incomplete capsulotomies are further explored and described.
