New Approaches to Imaging: Vitreomacular Interface Disease

    By Jay S. Duker, MD
    Annual Meeting 2013

In 2012, an international group of macular disease experts came together to develop a consensus system to facilitate the diagnosis and management of vitreomacular adhesion and diseases of the vitreomacular interface. The introduction of spectral domain OCT, which has provided a better understanding of these diseases, as well as new therapies such as ocriplasmin, drove the creation of the new system. In this presentation from Retina Subspecialty Day, Dr. Jay Duker reviews this new classification system.
