In particular, he focuses on pattern electroretinography (pERG) and pattern visual evoked potentials (VEP). Advantages of these techniques include earlier diagnosis compared with OCT, less frequent follow-ups, discrimination between IOPs that require treatment, and subjective monitoring of progression and treatment efficacy.
