Dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR) is the surgical treatment of choice for nasolacrimal duct obstruction in both adults and children when other simpler procedures, such as probing and intubation, have failed. Endonasal endoscopic DCR is an alternative to the external approach and has the advantage of preserving the medial canthal structures and avoiding a skin incision. This video demonstrates a simple endoscopic technique, with useful advice to avoid complications when using this approach to the lacrimal sac.
