Not Enough Conjunctiva — Help!

Dr. Jody Piltz-Seymore discusses how to maximize the success of incisional glaucoma surgery in patients with a compromised conjunctiva. Prior to surgery, obtain a detailed patient history, including prior medications and concomitant diseases. Both pre- and intraoperatively, thoroughly assess the conjunctiva. And be prepared to used autologous or exogenous grafts and fibrin glue during surgery.
