    By Dante J. Pieramici, MD

    Comprehensive Ophthalmology

This is part of the Macular OCT: Mastering the Basics series. The series provides a clinically meaningful review of indications and limitations of OCT in the diagnosis and management of common macular diseases such as AMD, diabetic maculopathy, epiretinal membrane, macular holes, vitreomacular traction, central serous retinopathy, vascular occlusions, and postoperative cystoid macular edema. On completing the series, viewers should be able to interpret OCTs of common macular pathologies; describe OCT indications and limitations in diagnosing and managing macular diseases; and identify, interpret, and correct common OCT artifacts.
