OCT angiography (OCT-A) is a quick and noninvasive diagnostic tool for imaging the retinal vasculature. However, by tweaking the machine parameters, it is possible to reliably perform ocular surface angiography (OSA). This instructional OSA video reviews the techniques of image acquisition and post-processing, using a simple Image J software-based algorithm. The video also demonstrates the potential applications of OSA in ocular surface burns, corneal neovascularization, partial and total limbal stem cell deficiency, postsurgical healing, and pharmacotherapy. This novel, reliable, and replicable OSA technique could significantly advance clinical research by improving our understanding of ocular surface pathologies and objectively monitoring potential therapies.
