Cornea/External Disease

Conjunctival and corneal intraepithelial neoplasia and squamous cell carcinoma of the conjunctiva are a spectrum of diseases classified as ocular surface squamous neoplasia (OSSN). In this video we will demonstrate the varied clinical presentations, vital staining techniques, and differential diagnosis of OSSN. A treatment algorithm including the different medical and surgical options will be discussed. Several video clips will demonstrate the biopsy technique, use of cryotherapy, surgical excision, and the use of limbal stem cell graft and amniotic membrane for ocular surface reconstruction.
