    Peripheral ulcerative keratitis is not an uncommon clinical entity in ophthalmic practice and may be associated with several immune-mediated and infectious diseases. This educational video demonstrates clinical scenarios in various connective tissue disorders, Mooren ulcer, lab evaluation ,complications, and the treatment of peripheral ulcerative keratitis. We emphasize how the early recognition and thorough investigation of peripheral ulcerative keratitis, in association with an internist or immunologist, is of paramount importance, as it may be the presenting symptom of some of the connective tissue disorders and the initiation of immunosuppressive therapy can be sight and life saving.
