Precision pulse capsulotomy (Zepto) is an automated method of creating a circular 5.2-mm diameter capsulotomy with a disposable handpiece in the normal surgical sequence. FDA approved in 2017, the device tip features a nitinol cutting ring surrounded by a thin silicone suction cup. This video illustrates use of the device with multiple complex cases, such as mature white and brown lenses, morgagnian cataracts, small pupils, traumatic cataracts, and anterior capsular fibrosis.
