    Comprehensive Ophthalmology, Diagnostic & Imaging , Retina/Vitreous

This is an introductory, basic-level presentation for those who are not retina specialists and are interested in learning about optical coherence tomography (OCT) and interpretation of OCT images of common retinal conditions:

    • Presenters review the fundamentals of OCT, including potential uses and limitations.
    • Through evaluation of images of common retinal conditions, the emphasis is on recognition and interpretation of OCT images to become more proficient at differentiating normal from pathologic findings.
    • Presenters describe how to use OCT imaging options, identify potential sources of artifacts, recognize OCT images of normal retina and common retinal diseases, and incorporate OCT into a comprehensive practice.
