Role of Imaging in Severe Glaucoma

    Glaucoma Subspecialty Day 2017
    05:55
    Diagnostic & Imaging, Glaucoma

Dr. David Greenfield discusses the limitations of current imaging devices and scans for monitoring patients with advanced glaucoma. OCT is a rapidly evolving technology that enables noncontact, reproducible, high-resolution imaging of anterior and posterior segment structures. Advances in OCT technology permit imaging of structures relevant to glaucoma, including 3-D volumetric imaging of the optic nerve head, peripapillary RNFL, and macula.
