This video demonstrates the inverted internal limiting membrane (ILM) flap technique for treating large macular holes and myopic macular holes. Peeling the ILM flap only from the temporal side of the macular hole helps decrease the risk of nerve fiber layer defects and full-thickness retinal defects. Postoperative spectral-domain OCT images are included.
