    Superior Oblique Z-Tenotomy

This video is part of a series on enhanced techniques for strabismus surgery, specifically the use of the Z-tenotomy technique in treating the condition of superior oblique overaction. Not a new technique, the goal is to cut a 2/3-width cut on both sides of the tendon to weaken it. In this newer study, a Colorado needle-tip Bovie electrocautery is used.
