    AAO 2020 Video Program
    Retina/Vitreous, Vitreoretinal Surgery

Posteriorly dislocated IOLs are a common indication for vitrectomy and combined cataract-retina cases. This video, directed to the vitreoretinal surgeon, will demonstrate step-by-step maneuvers for how to safely and efficiently retrieve a posteriorly dislocated IOL. Specific steps covered include freeing the IOL, mobilizing the IOL to the anterior chamber and explanting the IOL.
