In this video presentation, the difficulties encountered in the management of a series of 3 consecutive cases of pan–drug resistant Acinetobacter baumanni (PDRAB) postoperative endophthalmitis is presented. The multiple interventions that were necessitated before the infection healed are put on record. Also the diverse presentation such as corneal infiltrate, brown colored hypopyon, capsular bag sequestration and vitreous exudates, are documented. A comprehensive strategy in managing recalcitrant postoperative endophthalmitis caused by newer pathogens is presented.
