In this presentation from AAO 2016, Bonnie A. Henderson, MD, limits her presentation to her top pearl to decrease in the incidence of negative dysphotopsia following cataract surgery: Orient the optic-haptic junction in the inferiortemporal quadrant to decrease the percentage of the available edge where light can strike. Early results show a decrease in the incident of early dysphotopsia, but more study is needed.
