In this segment of the Spotlight on Cataract Complications, Dr. Terry Kim shares a case of a patient with progressive zonulopathy and a subluxated lens. Dr. Kim supports the capsule using 2 capsule retractors and a tension ring, but at the end of an otherwise unevenful case, he realizes the CTR is unexpectedly looped through one of the retractors. He chooses to cut the retractor after trying unsuccessfully to untangle it.
