Suprachoroidal hemorrhage is a dreaded complication of intraocular surgery. Patients with inflammatory eye disorders and chronic glaucoma are at high risk for this devastating untoward event during corneal replacement procedures. The personal experience of anticipating the danger, timely recognition and prompt action salvaged the only seeing eye of a young acid attack victim and the second eye for an elderly lady. Review of the surgical videos will provide new learnings. The two cases are unusual and unique in their presentation and outcomes. The film is designed to share the surgeon's perspective in real time and provide new educational insights.
