This video demonstrates use of temporary keratoprosthesis (TPK) to visualize intraocular structures during pars plana vitrectomy in eyes with corneal and retinal pathologies. With the TKP used as an intraoperative replacement of the opaque cornea, the author demonstrates corneal trephination, anterior segment reconstruction, open sky vitrectomy, extensive laser treatment in the periphery, and silicone oil tamponade. The TKP is then removed, followed by corneal graft surgery.
