This podcast series from the Academy’s Committee on Aging features leading experts who discuss their Jahnigen research and the differences in caring for older adults.

In today’s podcast, Dr. Jacque Duncan discusses her research of age-related macular degeneration (AMD) using advanced imaging modalities. Through the use of a scanning laser ophthalmoscope and adaptive optics, subtle irregularities in the cornea and lens can be precisely measured and corrected in order to obtain the highest possible resolution images of retinal structures.
