Dr. Lobo is an assistant professor of ophthalmology and co-director of the uveitis service at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Lobo’s clinical and research efforts are focused on the diagnosis and treatment of patients with ocular inflammatory and infectious diseases, including anterior, intermediate and posterior uveitis and scleritis. Dr. Lobo has served as the principal investigator for several multi-center international clinical trials involving the use of novel therapies for the treatment of non-infectious uveitis.
Dr. Lobo completed her residency in ophthalmology and fellowship in ocular immunology and uveitis at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary at Harvard Medical School. She was a faculty member at Harvard for 5 years prior to joining UIC in September 2015.
