Dr. Ashiyana Nariani is an assistant professor in the department of ophthalmology at King Edward Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, India. She is certified by the American Board Of Ophthalmology and specializes in cornea, refractive surgery and anterior segment ocular oncology.
Dr. Nariani received her MD/MPH from Tufts University School of Medicine, ophthalmology residency from the University of Chicago Medical Center and cornea, external disease and refractive surgery fellowship from the Duke Eye Center concurrently with the Miracles In Sight Eyebank Fellowship. Dr. Nariani is the recipient of the J. William Fulbright Scholarship, Albert Schweitzer Fellowship and the World Health Organization (Geneva, Switzerland) Internship on the Global Burden of Disease Study, Blindness and Visual Impairment. Her special interests include global preventable blindness, eye banking, ocular surface squamous neoplasia, limbal stem cell transplantation and residency teaching.
