Dr. Michelle Butler is a native Texan and Dallas surgeon at the Glaucoma Associates of Texas. In addition, Dr. Butler is currently an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth.
Dr. Butler received her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine, where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She served as Chief Resident during her residency at Baylor College of Medicine, during which she also received the Goar Research Award, the Schindler Award for ethics and humane standards, and earned a grant from the Lions Foundation for Sight Research. Dr. Butler completed her glaucoma fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, FL.
