Dr. Pandit is an assistant professor of ophthalmology at Weill Cornell Medical College and practices at Methodist Eye Associates in Houston. He serves as medical director of the Houston Methodist Hospital Ophthalmology Operating Room.
Dr. Pandit grew up in suburban Chicago and received his undergraduate degree at Yale University. After completing medical school at Rush University in his home town of Chicago, he attended the University of Iowa Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences for both residency and a fellowship in Cornea, External Diseases, and Refractive Surgery. Since 2003, he has been practicing in Houston and was a partner at Medical Center Ophthalmology prior to joining the full-time faculty at Methodist Hospital.
His interests include advanced cataract surgery techniques, LASIK and other forms of refractive surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, and ocular surface disease, including dry eye syndrome.
In his spare time, Dr. Pandit enjoys nothing more than spending time with his wife and children, and engages in a wide range of hobbies and activities, including martial arts, music, coaching youth soccer, and community service.
