Dr. Bahl is a pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus fellow at Kellogg Eye Center at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She is a recipient of the Heed Fellow fellowship award for the 2011-2012 academic year and a member of the Society of Heed Fellows, a distinction given to the top 25 percent of Heed Fellows. She is the author of many peer-reviewed articles, textbook chapters and poster presentations, and is a peer reviewer for ophthalmology journals.
Her ophthalmology residency was at Cole Eye Institute at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, where she served as chief resident. She received a first-place award for the best resident paper/presentation at the institute's Residents' and Alumni 2010 Meeting.
Dr. Bahl completed a medical internship at Beth Israel Medical Center and Cabrini Medical Center, both in New York. She earned her medical degree at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, D.C., where she was awarded the W.T. Gill Fellowship, which is given to medical students at the school with an interest in medical research.
