Dr. Renelle Lim is a board-certified ophthalmologist at the Yale Cancer Center and Director of the Ophthalmic Oncology Section at Smilow Cancer Hospital, Yale New Haven Hospital. She is an author of over 20 peer-reviewed publications, and is a member of the American Society of Retinal Surgeons. Dr. Lim has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters.
Dr. Lim earned her medical degree and completed her ophthalmology residency at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. She went on to complete a 2-year clinical ocular oncology fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital where she worked under the tutelage of pioneers in the field of ocular oncology, Drs. Jerry and Carol Shields. She also completed a separate fellowship in oculoplastic and orbital surgery at Wills Eye Hospital.
