  • AAO 2018 - The Jensen Lecture

    Menke-Photo

The 5th annual Jensen Ethics Lecture, “The Intersection of Liability and Ethical Professionalism,” (presented Oct 29th at Academy 2018), provided by Anne Menke, RN, PhD of OMIC, was a well-attended event where a complex case study was presented containing both ethical dilemmas and liability issues. The case study illustrated the complexities involved in appropriately analyzing a tangled series of events leading to a patient’s poor outcome. A lively Q&A period followed the lecture. OMIC insureds were awarded a risk management premium discount for attending. The lecture offered 1 Ethics AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.

For another stimulating lecture and discussion, be sure to attend the 2019 Jensen Lecture in San Francisco!
