Dr. Rohit Adyanthaya repairs a dislocated Akreos IOL and iridodialysis caused by trauma. Following a vitrectomy, 25-gauge forceps were passed through the superotemporal port, threading one end of a Gore-Tex suture through the eyelet of the superotemporal haptic. The suture is pulled through the eyelet of the inferotemporal haptic and out through the scleral port. Next, the nasal haptics were secured using the handshake technique. Pupilloplasty was performed with 9-0 Prolene using the Siepser sliding knot technique.
