In this clinical video, Dr. Michael Snyder demonstrates the use of cautery to gently reshape residual iris tissue. Unlike using a vitrector which leaves less margin for error, this method offers a high degree of control without removing any tissue. Dr. Snyder cautions that cautery could cause minimal discoloration at the point of application in light irises.
