Diabetic Tractional Retinal Detachment

Dr. Steven Cohen demonstrates removal of scar tissue adhering to the retina in a case of diabetic tractional retinal detachment. He starts with a vitrector to peel plaques off the retina. For very dense plaques, scissors are used to cut the stalks attached to the plaques.
