By Chirag P. Shah, MD, MPH
Retina/Vitreous
Dr. Chirag P. Shah, of Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston, demonstrates the dramatic drainage of a kissing hemorrhagic choroidal detachment after trabeculectomy and subsequent laser suture lysis. After laser, the patient’s IOP fell from 40 mm Hg to 2 mm Hg. Postoperatively, choroidal detachment resolved and IOP increased to 11 mm Hg.
