Anterior segment OCT (AS-OCT) is a useful tool for imaging and studying anterior segment structures, but static images offer little information on the dynamic nature of the anterior segment. In this video, the authors demonstrate the use of AS-OCT videos to assess how anterior segment structures and parameters change with light exposure. Some of the examples discussed here include narrow angle, appositional angle closure and pigment dispersion syndrome. The videos can also be used to examine the effectiveness of laser peripheral iridotomy and study the behavior of phakic or iris-claw IOLs.
